Calusa Golf & Country Club
Calusa Golf & Country Club is the course inside Calusa Country Club, the Lennar community at Lakewood Ranch. It is the only dual-course setup in the Ranch: an 18-hole championship course plus a 12-hole executive course, 30 holes in all.
The club is semi-private and has offered limited public play while the community builds out. Membership is tied to the community, so what you are buying into is worth confirming against the current documents rather than assumed from a tee sheet.
Both courses are Gordon Lewis designs and the club opened for play on 1 February 2025, which makes this the newest golf in Lakewood Ranch by some margin. Every home carries a bundled golf or social membership, and the practice ground runs to a putting green and an aqua driving range. Lennar has around 1,900 homes planned here, so expect the build-out, and the arrangement around public play, to keep moving for several years yet.
