Does it cost me anything to use a buyer’s agent?+
In most Florida transactions, including new construction, buyer representation costs you nothing extra out of pocket, because the seller or builder contributes to it. It depends on the transaction rather than being guaranteed, so the compensation and anything you would owe are set out in the written buyer-broker agreement we sign before touring, and I walk you through it first.
Should I use the builder’s sales agent for new construction?+
The on-site agent represents the builder, not you. Having your own agent, registered on your first visit, means someone is advocating for your price, terms, and inspections.
