How your information is used

When you fill out a form on this site, the contact form, a community or listing inquiry, the free relocation guide download, the newsletter signup, or the home valuation request, I collect whatever you enter: typically your name, email address, and optionally a phone number and message. I don’t ask for anything beyond what’s needed to follow up with you.

This site also uses standard website analytics (Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymization enabled) to understand which pages are useful, and third-party tools that may set their own cookies when you use them directly: Calendly for scheduling a call, and Resend for delivering emails. Each of those companies has its own privacy practices governing the data that passes through their service.

When you use the “Ask Michael” chat assistant, the questions you type are saved so I can see what people want to know and improve the answers on this site. Before a question is saved, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, and names introduced with “my name is” are removed automatically. Each saved question is kept with the page it was asked on, the date, the general topic (for example buying or selling, and any community mentioned), and a random code that groups questions from the same conversation. Your IP address, browser details, and the assistant’s replies are not saved, and nothing saved can identify you unless you type identifying details that the automatic filter does not catch, so please don’t include private information in a question.

Saved questions are stored with Cloudflare, which runs the assistant, and are deleted after 90 days. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, your questions are not saved at all. Your name, email, and phone reach me only if you choose to send them through the form inside the chat, and that form works like every other form on this site.

When a request looks time-sensitive, such as a showing or a home valuation, I may get an instant alert on my phone through a push-notification service. That alert carries your first name and the kind of request so I can respond quickly; your full details stay in my email.

• To respond to your inquiry, by phone, text, or email, whichever you used to reach me.
• To send a small number of automated follow-up emails after you reach out (a confirmation, and occasionally a resource or check-in email over the following days), every one of those emails includes a way to tell me to stop.
• To deliver anything you specifically requested, like the relocation guide PDF or a home valuation.
• To keep a record of client communication, the same way any real estate professional does.

• I do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.
• I do not share your information with other agents, brokerages, or marketers.
• I do not use automated dialing or bulk texting systems, if I call or text the number you provide, it’s me personally, about the inquiry you submitted.

Every automated email from this site includes a line inviting you to reply and ask to be removed, and I honor that immediately. If you’d like your information deleted entirely, email michael.dailey@cbrealty.com or call (941) 350-0224 and I’ll take care of it.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic patterns, with IP addresses anonymized. If Calendly’s scheduling widget is loaded on a page, it may set its own cookies per Calendly’s privacy policy. This site does not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.

Your browser also keeps a small note of how you first arrived on this site (for example “Google search” or a campaign link), the page you landed on, and how many pages you have viewed, for up to 90 days. It stays on your device and is sent to me only if you choose to submit a form, so I know which page you were reading when you reached out. Campaign tags on a link are kept; search terms and the rest of a web address are not, and only the website name of the page that referred you is noted. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

If you look through the floor plans on this site, your browser also keeps the names of up to eight plans you spent time on (for example “Victoria (Stillwater)”), so a form can offer to include them. That list stays on your device. It is sent to me only if you submit a form with those plans left ticked, and the form has a button to clear it.
