Manatee County Golf Course is the second half of the pair of Manatee public courses sold under one membership, alongside Buffalo Creek in Palmetto. For a buyer deciding whether golf here means joining a club, these two are the reason the answer can be no.
The practice ground is a grass-tee driving range with putting and chipping areas, and the Fusion Golf Academy operates on site with PGA instruction, so lessons do not mean a drive to a private club.
The clubhouse and snack bar is unpretentious, which is the point. Rates are published on the course booking pages rather than in a fixed table, so check the current ones when you book.
