Peridia Golf & Country Club

Peridia is an executive course in Bradenton: 18 holes at a par of 60, measuring about 3,373 yards. It opened in 1987 to a William Luis design and has since been redesigned by Jed Azinger and Gordon Lewis, with the greens renovated.

An executive layout at this length is a different game from a championship course, and for a part-year owner who wants to play several times a week it is often the more honest choice. The round is quick, the walk is reasonable, and the scorecard does not punish a shorter hitter for being short.

The clubhouse carries the Terrace on the Green restaurant, serving lunch, dinner and a Sunday brunch over the 18th green, and it is open to non-members as well as members. Membership terms are not published and are not guessed at here.
