River Run Golf Links
River Run is a City of Bradenton recreational facility, which is a useful thing to know before you compare it with the private clubs east of town. It is an 18-hole par-70 course on the west bank of the Braden River, near the Pirate City baseball complex, opened in 1987 to a Ward Northrup layout and updated in 2005 by Jed Azinger and Gordon G. Lewis.
A municipal course matters for a buyer who does not want to join anything. Between River Run, Bobby Jones in Sarasota, and the Manatee County pair of Buffalo Creek and Manatee County Golf Course, there is enough publicly operated golf in this market to play several times a week without a membership, which is not true of every Florida market people compare this one against.
The course runs leagues and has an E-Club for players who want booking and offers. Rates are published on the course rates page rather than in a fixed table, so check the current ones before you book.
