Serenoa Golf Club

Serenoa is a public course east of Sarasota, laid out by David Martin Alden through the Serenoa community. The club describes a 6,270-yard layout that plays more like 7,200, which is a polite way of saying the yardage understates it.

It is open seven days a week and genuinely public, and the club carries two kinds of pass rather than a club membership: annual passholders and a Perks Plus pass. For a buyer who wants to play two or three times a week without a club commitment, a pass at a course like this is the alternative worth pricing against a bundled community.

The Serenoa Bar and Grill is on site. Rates and pass prices are not published on the course page; ask the shop.
