The Palms Golf Club at Forest Lakes

The Palms at Forest Lakes is a Gordy Lewis design in Sarasota built around an unusual idea: a par of 64 split into a traditional par-35 front nine and a par-29 back nine. The back half is designed to move play along, which is why a round here does not eat the day.

The surfaces are maintained to a standard the length does not prepare you for, with TifEagle greens and Celebration fairways. Short does not mean soft.

The golf shop is open seven days a week, 7am to 7pm, and the club has a practice facility and a membership programme. Rates and membership prices are not published on the course detail page; ask the shop.
