TPC Prestancia
TPC Prestancia opened in 1985 as the third private club in the TPC Network, and it remains a 36-hole private complex in Palmer Ranch. The Stadium Course was designed by Ron Garl in consultation with Mike Souchak; the Players Course is the second eighteen.
The tournament record is the thing that separates this club from the rest of the market. Prestancia hosted the Chrysler Cup from 1987 to 1994 and the American Express Invitational from 1996 to 2000, both on what was then the Senior PGA Tour. Very little golf in Sarasota or Manatee has that history.
The club is now a Heritage Golf Group property. It is private; membership terms are not published and are not guessed at here.
